The trend in supporting corporate social responsibility, thanks to which many international and domestic companies take social, cultural, and environmental aspects into account in conducting their business, has also taken root in the Ostrava region. Most recently, the Clarion Congress Hotel Ostrava received an award. The hotel’s Director, Radim Beneš received the National Corporate Social Responsibility Award for 2015 from the President of the Trade and Tourism Association, Marta Nováková and MP Pavel Kováčik at a ceremony held at the Spanish Hall at Prague Castle. The gala evening was held under the auspices of Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka and was attended by President Miloš Zeman. Tenor Štefan Margita sang for the winners during the awards ceremony.
