A festively set table and a hall decorated with white flowers and pink valerians awaited more than 500 wedding guests at the Clarion hotel in the town of Ostrava on Sunday, 11 January 2015. The wedding date according to Vietnamese tradition was determined according to the lunar calendar and the age of the bride. The arrival of the newlyweds was announced around 6 p.m. by extravagant fireworks in front of the Clarion hotel. The bride and groom on stage first greeted the guests and then handed the stage over to their parents, who in front of friends and family wished them good luck in their life together.
